VON Automobile Introduces The New Ashok Leyland Phoenix 3.49T LHD Truck

Von Automobile Nig Ltd is one of Nigeria’s biggest automobile companies under the Stallion Group of companies.
In Nigeria, the Stallion Group has ventured into several sectors like agriculture, steel manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, fertilizer production, packaging, etc.
Von Automobile is known for the manufacturing of trucks (light and heavy duty), armored vehicles, luxurious buses and cars. They are popular for the production of brands like Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Foton and so on. They also have available spare parts for their vehicles.
Speaking at the product unveiling ceremony in Lagos, the executive director of Von Automobile Nigeria Limited, Dr Harpreet Singh said, ” we are committed to growing the Nigerian economy through integration by creating opportunities through training and creation of job opportunities for Nigerians” speaking on the new Ashok Leyland Phoenix 3.49T LHD truck, he said the vehicle is a game changer in the Nigerian market. Singh assured customers of the durability and reliability of the product.
Also speaking at the event is the Head – African International operations of Ashok Leyland, Sachin Dasharath, he said ” we are here to serve the Nigerian market, our vehicles are known for reliability and product efficiency. Ashok Leyland is the fourteenth largest vehicle manufacturing company in the world with presence in over fifty countries” . Speaking on the features of the vehicle, Sachin said the Phoenix Ashok Leyland is known for fuel management, comfortability for long trips with a seating capacity of 3 (driver and 2 co drivers. The Phoenix has a 80 HP maximum power engine with 215/75 R15 LT tubeless tyres for tough roads and to cover more milage. Ultimately, the vehicle has a 5 years warranty which makes it stand out from other vehicles.
The Business Head – VON Automobiles, Mr Sujay Shrivastava, assured customers that the truck was built with their safety in mind. He said the vehicle is safe for drivers and has the capacity to carry 1.8 tons load and 50 litres fuel tank capacity. The Phoenix is to be sold for 12 million naira only.
The event had in attendance representatives of most of the blue chip companies in Nigeria with very encouraging on the spot booking and enquiries.
Ashok Leyland was also represented at the event by Mr Rajeev Narain, Mr Pravin Bawankule and Mr Sudheer Reddy.
